Ben Lomond Water boss Miles Hampton has been named chairman of the new single water and sewerage company.
Mr Hampton was announced out of a field of five candidates for the statewide Tasmanian Water and Sewerage Corporation position this morning.
The new corporation will replace Ben Lomond Water, Southern Water, Cradle Mountain Water and Onstream form July 1.
As well as chairing those four companies, Mr Hampton is chairman of MyState, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries, Van Diemen's Land Company and until last September Forestry Tasmania.
