You beauty! Australia Day ute competition to raise fire funds

THE Tasmanian Ute Group will hold its third annual Australia Day ute competition at the Harveydale Rodeo on Saturday.

Group president Justyn Atkins said that the competition had previously raised money for Queensland flood victims and Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania.

"This year we're raising funds for the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association fire refencing appeal and will donate $10 from every ute entry to the TFGA.

"The Beaut Ute competition has categories for just about everyone and we're accepting entries from 9am until 10.30am, with judging to start at noon.

"So invite your friends, bring your ute and 4WDs and watch the full rodeo action."

•* Best 4WD off-road.

•* Best Aussie ute.
