Ms Rees, of Sue Rees Deportment and Modelling Academy, said people would get the best chance to preview this year's fads at the seventh annual Fashion for Fillies gala parade to be held on February 23 at Josef Chromy Vineyard, Relbia.
"It is going to be a very bright cup with lots of pinks, limes, orange and all the citrus colours," she said.
"If people go for hats they will be big hats, but what I saw in Melbourne and on the Gold Coast were beautiful hatinators."
More than 200 people are expected to attend the pre- cup function to watch the fully choreographed fashion show compered by Christopher Horne.
Ms Rees said 12 Launceston stores would showcase outfits at the luncheon, which includes a two-course meal and a glass of sparkling wine on arrival - for $85 per person.
The lucky seat prize winner will win a $400 hair care gift voucher from Blade Runner Hairdressing and the best dressed woman wins a return helicopter ride for two to dine at Josef Chromy and one night's accommodation at Quest Launceston. The event's after party is an extra $15.
Tickets are available from Sue's of Invermay, call 63316415 or email suesofinvermay@bigpond. com, before February 15.
