GEORGE Bailey's first side as Australian one-day captain will feature fellow Tasmanian Xavier Doherty after the George Town spinner was named in the squad for tomorrow's match with Sri Lanka at the MCG.
Doherty is one of three slow bowling options named in the XI man squad, along with Victorian duo Glenn Maxwell and David Hussey.
The 30-year-old has played 37 one day internationals, taking 42 wickets at 34.07.
Aaron Finch, Phil Hughes and Usman Khawaja will all make their Australian 50-over debut.
