The large bushfire between Forcett and the Tasman Peninsula this morning is under a watch and act alert level
The Tasmanian Fire Service says the fire danger rating in this area is forecast to be high . Fire under these conditions can be difficult to control .
This bushfire is currently not controlled.
People in the Kellevie, Bream Creek, Eaglehawk Neck, Pirates Bay, Doo Town, Old Jetty Road and Blowhole Road areas are requested to remain vigilant following changing weather conditions.
Road Closures in the area include the Arthur Highway from Old Forcett Road to Nubeena Road, Taranna. Fulham Road from Primrose Sands Road to Gellibrand Street, Dunally. Sugarloaf Road from Arthur Highway to Carlton River Road.
Another 10 fires are under the advice alert level.
They are at Bridport Road, Curries River, Bull Bottom, Mathinna, Nettlefolds Road, Holwell, Speedwell Road, Montumana, Tasman Highway, Buckland, Interlaken Road, Steppes, Stormlea Road, Nubeena, Tasman Highway, Bichen, Giblin River, Southwest, Dawson Road, Lake Repulse.
