EVERYTHING from a helicopter ride to master chef Nigel Squibb teaching punters his art was on offer at the Port Sorell Fiesta yesterday.
About 5000 people converged on the foreshore near Freers Beach for the annual Port Sorell Surf Life Saving Club all-day festival.
A giant shark-shaped jumping castle, woodfire pizzas, live entertainment and a searing summer's day made for a perfect occasion, club public relations officer Gina Harvey said.
"It is our main fund-raiser for the year and it helps us provide safety on the beach," Mrs Harvey said.
"This event also funds our equipment the mal boards, first aid, training and we couldn't do half the stuff that we do with out it. A highlight would be the good line-up of entertainment, but the biggest one would be Nigel Squibb doing cooking demonstrations. We tried to ensure that people had a choice of food, refreshments and entertainment for all."
