Chance to share atmosphere at Falls

THE Falls Festival kicked off at Marion Bay yesterday, with a sell-out crowd setting up camp for three days of music and entertainment.

Today, the festival will get into full swing, with Australian acts Matt Corby, Lisa Mitchell and the Hilltop Hoods joining Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit, rock group The Hives and English electronic dance act Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs on the Valley stage.

Launceston roots act the Younger Dryas and East Coast punk rock band Luca Brasi will make their Falls debut on the Field stage, along with Best Coast, San Cisco, Angus Stone and Coolio.

Tomorrow will feature performances by Oklahoma psychedelic alternative rock band The Flaming Lips, British electronic act Hot Chip and Baltimore pop duo Beach House.

The Examiner  will publish some reader photos from the festival. For your chance to be included, send in your photos using The Examiner's  iPhone and Android apps or via The Examiner  Facebook page. For Falls Festival details, go to www.
