State Emergency Service volunteers have completed line searching outside the residence, police divers have searched a dam on the property and detectives will continue with enquiries associated with the investigation

Earlier, friends and neighbours of Professor Gavin Mooney, 69, and Delys Weston, 62, have placed flowers at the gate of the property.

Nicolau Francisco Soares, 27, of Western Australia, has been charged with two counts of murder and will reappear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on January 7.
