The show at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery featured the works of 48 year 11 and 12 students, tackling drawing, painting, sculpture, digital photography and art installations.
Works from Georgie Morrison, of Launceston Church Grammar School, and Peter Graver, of Hutchins School, received examiner's choice awards.
Miss Morrison picked up an art production award after she digitally manipulated a suite of cool and colourful model shots to create a retro impression.
Mr Graver presented a series of large detailed pencil drawings which earned him the art studio practice award.
The exhibition is open to the public until April 2 before it tours Hobart and Burnie.
