After the duo put on a 114 together to save the Tigers after they had slumped to 6-51, they took eight Warriors wickets between them to deny the visitors.

Faulkner, formerly of Launceston, finished with the match contribution of 66 and 4-32, while ex-Victorian Gulbis made 57 not out  and took 4-36.

Only four WA batsman made it into double figures, who last its last nine wickets for just 60.
