The advertisement features tourism operators and a farmer talking about the need to protect Tasmania's ``clean and green'' brand and not undermine the wilderness values of the area.
Geoff King, who runs Tarkine Trails, providing eco-tours of the area, says it's a growing tourism industry.
``If we have new mines in the Tarkine, that wilderness experience gets compromised,'' Mr King tells viewers.
The Greens are campaigning for the Tarkine to receive National Heritage listing, which is being vigorously opposed by the Australian Workers Union.
AWU secretary Paul Howes has urged community members to show their support for the local mining industry and attend today's rally in Burnie.
``There is a still a long way to go, and we know the activist groups are planning the most aggressive series of protect actions since the Franklin dam, so it's vital that we get a big turn-out,'' Mr Howes said.
Joan Rylah, the head of the new Unlock Tasmania _ Claim Our Future! group did not know how many people to expect.
``I know there are a lot of people out of Circular Head, there are a lot of people coming up from Hobart to show their support for the industry,'' Ms Rylah said. ``We have an area that's desperately in need of jobs _ the fabric of the community is being unravelled.''
The Greens have sent the video to members and supporters and posted it on YouTube.
