The Examiner Sponsorship Program 2011/2012
Sponsorship Terms and ConditionsThe Examiner is proud to support many local events every year and offers a range of opportunities to encourage and assist event organizers to stage their event in Tasmania in 2011/2012.
At The Examiner, we receive many requests every day for donations and support from a wide variety of organizations and individuals.
Each request is carefully assessed to determine if it meets our sponsorship, marketing and position objectives and we are proud to support many worthwhile community projects.
However, there is a genuine audited cost to The Examiner for contra promotions which limits the number of sponsorship agreements we undertake. Subsequently, we are unable to proceed with requests for support that do not fit within our guidelines and criteria.
Editorial and story placement is not guaranteed as part of a sponsored contra agreement. We recommend your send regular media releases about the progress of your event directly to The Examiner Chief of Staff at mail@examiner.com.au.
To assist you in writing a Media Release that will get your event noticed, please download the Effective Media Release Template
If editorial content is important to you, Examiner Features may be a suitable option, particularly if your event already has established commercial support. A feature will offer guaranteed advertorial space and may be tied to contra sponsorship. For more information please contact The Examiner Features Manager on ccohen@examiner.com.au.
Sponsorship Criteria
You must complete the online Examiner Sponsorship Application Form

If your application is approved we will prepare a contra contract. Please note: It takes three to four weeks to assess applications and a response will be sent to you once your proposal has been evaluated.
