They joined Huon's Renee Britton in progressing to their under-23 lightweight singles semi-finals by coming second in their heats.
Huon sculler Georgia Nesbitt won her heat convincingly while clubmates Eve Mure, Declan Martin and Toby Pitt will have to go through the repecharges.
In temperatures approaching 37 degrees and 13 per cent humidity at Champion Lakes, south of Perth, an extremely competitive under-23 men's single scull saw Sam Volker (Buckingham) lose a photo finish and Taylor Wilczynski (Mersey) also finish second.
Along with Max McQueeney (Buckingham), the trio of Tasmanians are still expected to win their way through to the semis along with Huon scullers Max Rowan, Toby Pitt and Erik Rowan.
The first Tasmanian to qualify for the semis was Buckingham's Meaghan Volker who had a solid race in the under-23 pair with her Adelaide University partner, Peta White.
The under-19 singles saw defending champions Stephanie Williams (Tamar) and Sam Heron (Hutchins) have convincing wins in fast times.
They will be joined in the semi-finals by Eleni Kalimnios (Huon) who has carried her domination of Tasmanian sculling into this event winning her heat by six lengths.
Mel Flanagan (Huon) and Miranda Allender (Lindisfarne) were second and third respectively in their heats and should qualify for the semis through repecharges.
Sam Volker (Buckingham) got Tasmania off to a good start with a strong win in his repecharge of the under-23 single sculls to go through to the semi-finals.
His clubmate Max McQueeney made use of his usual fast start and led into the last 1500 metres, but the superior experience and strength of Thomas McLintock (Sydney Uni) and West Australian Grant Addendorf told in the end, with MacQueeney coming in third.
Taylor Wilczynski (Mersey) led out from the start and proved he is back to top form with Max Rowan (Huon) holding second place throughout the race, with a challenge coming from Will Lindors (Pine Rivers) keeping him honest.
Both Tasmanians went through to the semis.
In the women's under-23 pair, Tamar's Ciona Wilson joined Swan's Ashlee Rowe to win their repecharge and progress to the semi-final.
The open men's double scull featured the Olympic gold medal crew of Scott Brennan (Lindisfarne) and David Crawshay (Mercantile) in the first heat.
They were not troubled and asserted their dominance.
The second heat featured two Tasmanian lightweight crews with Tom Gibson (Huon) who combines with Rod Chisolm (UTS) coming first followed by Tamar's (Blair Tunevitsch and Ali Foot) in second.
