Summer street series continues

30 Jan, 2012 03:00 AM
ESK Valley Orienteering Club's summer street series continues with the third instalment on Wednesday following last week's event at Mowbray.

With an emphasis on family fun, the summer street series is aimed at attracting children, adults and family groups to participate in locating specific points on a simple street map.

Newcomers are welcome with support and instruction readily available by experienced orienteers.

The start and finish of this week's event will be at Coronation Park, South Launceston, with entry via Glenelg Street.

Participants can start at any time between 5pm and 6pm.

There will be three different length courses available, a long, medium and short.
