John Fordham, Phil Page and Ray Skinner all won close matches for Navy, while Adam Bindoff was Exeter's only winner.
Works Black drew 2-2 with Works Green. Andrew Saltmarsh and Bruce Lockley won for Black, and Cor Zoon and Dean Wilson were Green's winners.
