LONGFORD'S division 4 side made it five straight wins taking 10 points on two games from Launceston White to sit five points outside the Northern women's bowls competition top four.

Deloraine forfeited to Lilydale giving Lilydale the full quota from forfeits for the third time this season.

Back-to-back successes came Cressy's way with its 10-pointer versus Exeter and Scottsdale's Jill Willis, Ivy East, Ann Haberle and Carlee McKaskill carried their team through for a one rink eight pointer at George Town.

Bridport retained third after its outright against North and Launceston Blue made up for its previous two losses beating Kings Meadows on two by 27 overall.

In division 3, George Town bounced back clean-sweeping West and despite winning on two at Longford, Invermay could not cover the third resulting in an overall draw.

Lorna Beck, Courtney Lindsay, Pauline Harper and Iris Parker's +21 ensured Longford's five points.

Midlands took 10 from two against Beauty Point and Exeter's home advantage paid dividends with it beating Launceston on two by two overall.

Riverside had a good day out, defeating Ravenswood by +20 on two.

In division 2, Kings Meadows Red cemented second spot with its 12 pointer at North and Deloraine made it two straight beating West by five overall for eight.

Westbury's Carole Kelty, Sheril Watts, Marjorie Smith and Joy O'Shea's shared rink blocked Scottsdale's outright and George Town would be smiling after inflicting Bridport's second loss for the season, albiet a 10-pointer.

East got among the winners again taking 11 from Kings Meadows Green.

Vonda Reid's drawn rink gave Green the point.

In division 1, Longford won two games at Invermay but without enough in reserve to cover the third.

In a 52-52 overall it took seven points to Invermay's five.

Brenda Jones, Debbie Maher, Mary Berger and Jenny Scott's +20 win carried Cressy for eight at East and North's Edna O'Malley's rinks seven shots-up got their team through for an eight pointer at Trevallyn.

Kings Meadows just keeps keeping on - it sits three games clear in top spot after its outright at Deloraine.

Launceston won on two for 10 versus Exeter to move back into fourth.

Exeter's Sue Ross, Teresa Turmne, Senga Grubert and Alma Donovan scored an eight .
