NORTHERN bowlers have plenty to see and do this week with a junior singles title, RSL Northern fours title and the Northern pairs title all starting, and pennant games for women and men.
The RSL bowlers start the week with the Northern title at Invermay Bowls Club from 9.30am today.
The champions of the future will be on show at the Launceston Bowls Club from 9.30am tomorrow.
Most of the junior bowlers are playing in senior pennant sides and are valuable contributors for their clubs.
Trevallyn club will be represented by brothers Lackie and Micheal Sims.
East Launceston will be represented by Joseph Thomas, Lachlan Blackberry, Jordan Partridge and Ryan Thomas.
Bridport has a strong contingent with twin brothers Mitchell and Kane Walker, Ashley Barnett and Reese McDougal.
Country clubs Scottsdale, Deloraine and Longford have Chris Cartledge, Ben Perotti, Matt Jackson and Brady Murnane.
West and North Launceston will be represented by Hayden Zasandy, Brent Avent and Josh Walker Davis.
Launceston bowls club representatives will be Kyron Riley and Trace Stewart and Josh Appleyard, of Kings Meadows.
The juniors will play three rounds with the semi-final and final being played on March 18.
The men's open pairs championship starts at 9am at North Launceston and Kings Meadows on Thursday.
Twenty-eight teams will start the event in seven sections to determine those that will meet in the quarter-finals on Sunday, January 29.
