TASMANIAN professional Clint Rice has secured his first win for 2012 at the Irrigation Tasmania Highlands Pro-Am at the historic Ratho Links at Bothwell.
Rice shot a five under par round of 61 over the 17 holes played.
With three birdies in his first nine holes, Rice made the turn in three under par and a further five birdies from the 11th to the 16th holes were followed by two late bogeys.
This was enough to secure the win by two shots from Glen Haynes, of the UK.
``It was great to come and play on a course that shows us how golf used to be played,'' Rice said.
