TASMANIA has been routed for a paltry 114 in its second innings to hand Victoria an innings and 46 run win on day three of the Sheffield Shield match at the MCG.
Needing 160 just to make the Bushrangers bat again, the Tigers were dismissed in just 51 overs.
Victoria started the day at 8-358 in its first innings in reply to Tasmania's score of 222.
The Bushrangers were eventually dismissed for 382 - David Hussey top scoring with 140.
However, Tasmania's top order capitulated in its second innings with just three batsmen making it into double figures.
Brendan Drew top-scored with 40, Tim Paine 28 and Xavier Doherty 19 after the Tigers lost 6-18 at the start of their innings.
Former Tigers paceman Damien Wright (3-11) and Darren Pattinson (3-15) and leg-spinner Bart McGain (3-57) were the main destroyers for the Bushrangers.
Earlier, Hussey blasted a masterful 140 from just 189 balls to lead the Victorians to a formidable first-innings score.
Aaron Finch made 102 and shared in a 212-run partnership with Hussey for the 3rd wicket.
Another former Tigers, wicketkeeper Matthew Wade, chimed in with an even 50.
