Pies on the march

05 Sep, 2010 01:00 AM
COLLINGWOOD last night trounced the Western Bulldogs by 62 points in their qualifying final at the MCG to earn a week's rest while it waits for the winner of the Geelong-Dockers semi-final, which will be played at the MCG on Friday night.

Last night the Magpies were inaccurate in their 17.22 (124) to 8.14 (62) win, but the Bulldogs were never a real threat.

In yesterday's elimination final, Fremantle downed Hawthorn with a strong 30-point win - 14.10 (94) to 8.16 (64) - at Subiaco.
