Sydney FC coach Vitezslav Lavicka says young striker Chris Payne can handle the pressure of filling injured forward John Aloisi's boots in Saturday's A-League grand final.
Payne, 19, is set to fill the position vacated by veteran striker Aloisi, who suffered a season ending hamstring injury in last weekend's preliminary final win over Wellington. Aloisi's injury handed an opportunity to Payne, who grabbed the chance by scoring two goals, though one was clouded in controversy after the youngster appeared to handball in the lead-up to one of his brace.
