PETER Zoon's Kings Meadows team of Chris Dudman, Nathan Chugg and Andrew Baird scored a 17-point win against Trevallyn to claim the Northern men's fours title yesterday.

Close opening bowls from lead Aaron Page and good covering bowls from Chris Cartledge and Mick Oliver allowed it to continue untroubled to set up a semi-final clash against Peter Zoon's Kings Meadows' team.
The first semi-final showdown had it all with resting lead bowls and conversions from the skips Peter Zoon and David Minns changing the fortunes of the teams.
The scores were locked at five-all after eight ends with both sides taking the lead before finding themselves again tied at the 14th end.
Peter Zoon got to the front by four shots on the 17th end, a lead they carried to the finish defeating David Minns 20-16.

David Heron and Sims traded blows at the lead of their respective teams with the junior bowler more than covering his more fancied opponent.
The Trevallyn side had claimed a handy lead at the 13th end with some controlled weight shots from both skips altering their fortunes.
But in the end Trevallyn's Geoff Buchanan, Warren Groves, David Sims and Lachie Sims were into the final after the nine-shot win.
The Kings Meadows team opened its account early in the final with some close lead bowls from Andrew Baird. Minor conversions and good cover bowls from Nathan Chugg and Chris Dudman made it difficult for Trevallyn.
The final was halted three ends short of full distance after the Peter Zoon skipped team scored a six on the 13th end and a four on the 14th to take the win by 17 shots.
