A MOUTH-WATERING mix of national and international champions has been unveiled for this year's Basslink Christmas Carnivals Series.

Sports Carnivals Association of Tasmania president Susie Bower said numerous major signings had been secured with a huge Malaysian team including Launceston Wheel winner Rizal Tisin.

Returning to defend their cyclist of the year titles are Fateha Musthapa and Glen O'Shea, with Tasmania's junior world champion Amy Cure and silver medallist Peter Loft also confirmed.

Commonwealth Games gold medallist Sean Finning, top Tasmanian rider Laura McCaughey and American champions Giddeon Massie and Cari Higgins will also be there.

Officials are still in talks with other high-profile competitors.
