OCCUPYING one end of the pool was the senior women's aquarobics class.

Just seven lanes over, Australia's greatest soccer export was leading a recovery session with his Melbourne Victory teammates.

Harry Kewell, Archie Thompson and company worked out their post-match niggles at the Launceston Aquatic Centre yesterday morning.

The players moved gingerly through their water exercises, bandages and bruises being the main evidence of their 1-1 draw with Gold Coast United the night before.

The squad spent 30 minutes in the water before towelling off and heading for their hotel.

Kewell signed several shirts and posters for the few fans who waited for him at the exit.
