TASMANIAN Roar cricketer Erin Burns has been selected in a 13-player Shooting Stars youth squad to tour New Zealand in March.
The 23-year-old is the eldest member of the squad which will be coached by former Australian captain and ICC Hall of Fame member Belinda Clark.
The squad will tour from March 12-23.
Explosive batter Burns has had a stellar WNCL season, making 194 runs in the T20 format and 153 in one-dayers which included half-centuries against Western Australia and New South Wales.
Her match-winning ability and athleticism in the field was also on show this summer, taking a remarkable catch against the NSW Breakers at Bellerive which has had 2000 hits on YouTube.
