David Bartlett to Will Hodgman: By now Tasmanians would be well aware of your scheme to pay Victorians to come to our state and take away jobs from Tasmanian workers and their families.
Considering you have indicated that if you were premier in a minority government situation you would be prepared to enter into negotiations in order to secure support on the floor of the Parliament, would this scheme paying people from another state to take Tasmanian jobs be one of the things that you would be prepared to negotiate away?
David Bartlett to Nick McKim: One of your very familiar statements on many issues is about the need for government to respect the will of the people. However, you are on the record as saying you will not necessarily support the party that gains the highest amount of seats given that whichever party achieves the most seats would logically have the support for its policies (from) a greater number of voters, why would you refuse to respect the will of the Tasmanian people?
Will Hodgman to David Bartlett: In the event of a hung parliament will you resign as Premier if you have fewer seats than us?
Will Hodgman to Nick McKim: You've said all of your policies are up for negotiation. Which of your policies will you trade away, which are non- negotiable?
Nick McKim to David Bartlett and Will Hodgman: Power sharing arrangements deliver stability, accountability and economic prosperity right around the world including places like Switzerland, Germany, the ACT and the Australian Senate. Why do you think Tasmania is so different that we couldn't do it here?
