Cost of Living
* Energy reforms to wipe $200 a year off power bills at a cost of $37M
* Public housing tenants won’t be charged water and sewerage fees
* $1 million extra for energy efficiency measures in public housing
Community sector
* $3M increasing to $12M a year by 2015-16 to increase community sector wages in line with Fair Work Australia decision
Aboriginal Affairs
* Aboriginal Land Council of Tasmania to benefit from additional $90,000 a year
Prisons
* $10.9M in additional cuts
* $4M over two years for overtime
Police
* Review of emergency services support functions

Economic development
* $5M fund for grants and loans for new investments and projects
* $950,000 for Dr Ernesto Sirolli’s economic development model in Smithton, Scottsdale and George Town
Tourism
* $5.2 million in additional events funding
* Extra $300,000 for marketing
Transport
* $195 million spending on Tasmania’s road and rail network, including $64.9 m from Federal Government
* Study into feasibility of North-West cycleway
