PREMIER David Bartlett has admitted that the Tasmanian community is angry with his Government after a poll revealed a huge swing against Labor.
The Enterprise Marketing and Research Services poll of voting intentions in November saw the Opposition comfortably ahead of Labor in every electorate in the state.
The largest swing was in Braddon - traditionally a Labor heartland - with 51 per cent preferring a Liberal Government.
This compared with only 35 per cent who said they would have voted Labor.
But a more worrying result for Mr Bartlett was his rating as preferred premier - both on a statewide basis and in his own seat of Denison.
Across the state, Mr Bartlett's rating as preferred premier dropped from 41 per cent in February, to an all-time low of just 28 per cent in November.
In Denison, the figure was just 25 per cent this month - the same result as Greens leader Nick McKim.
In comparison, Opposition Leader Will Hodgman polled 29 per cent in February, and saw that figure soar to 40 per cent this month.
Mr Bartlett said that he understood and accepted that his Government's performance had fallen short of the expectations of many Tasmanians.
