A PREGNANT woman, a child and another person are believed to have escaped serious injury in a car crash at Circular Head yesterday.
The ambulance service said trio was taken to the Smithton District Hospital to be assessed, but were not believed to be badly hurt.
The car was reported to have hit a tree on Trowutta Road shortly before noon.
It was understood to have been a single-vehicle accident.
A volunteer ambulance unit from Smithton, another Smithton unit and units from Burnie and Wynyard were called out, while Smithton police and the fire service attended.
