An 18-year-old learner driver from Mayfield accidentally accelerated while trying to park yesterday in Launceston and smashed through a shop window.

The woman was driving with her mother in the passenger seat, when her red Holden Barina mounted the curb and crashed through Family Fun's front window in York Street.

The accident happened about 10.30am. No one was injured.
