A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed at Waratah in the state's North-West when the bike and a ute collided.
Tasmania Police said the motorcycle and a Triton flat tray ute collided on Etchells Road about noon.
The rider died at the scene.
No further details are available at this stage.
The fatality brought the state's road toll to six compared with seven at the same time last year.
