But yesterday, parents Rebecca and Phil Beeston couldn't have been happier with her after finding out that she had helped them to win a new iPhone 4S, courtesy of Telstra.

Mr Beeston had submitted a photo of Molly, taken by Mrs Beeston, to The Examiner's Summer Living in Tassie assignment for a chance to win the phone.

The winning photo was taken of Molly in a lifesaver swimsuit at West Ulverstone beach where the family were camping last month.

A couple of days after the photo was taken, Molly was keeping herself occupied on the phone when she dropped it into a rock pool.

This week, Mrs Beeston was in the Telstra Shop to discuss options for a new phone before her husband got a call from The Examiner. ``It was a great surprise and we were ecstatic,'' Mr Beeston said.

Telstra Northern Tasmania customer service manager Andrew Purdon congratulated the Beestons. ``We're really pleased the phone has gone to such a great photo,'' Mr Purdon said. ``And the story behind it makes it even more worthwhile.''
