Police have charged a 48-year-old Scamander man with armed robbery following an alleged incident at the Prospect Vale Woolworth's store on Wednesday, March 3.
The man was charged yesterday and has been bailed to appear in the St Helens Court of Petty Sessions at a later date.
Meanwhile, members of the Devonport Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a 27-year-old Devonport man with armed robbery following an alleged incident at a Devonport hair salon on Tuesday.
The man is set to appear in the Devonport Court of Petty Sessions later today.
