 Exhibition comes to big screen

Exhibition comes to big screen

12 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
THE people of Devonport have a ''once-in-a-lifetime'' opportunity to see the UK National Gallery's soldout Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan exhibition next weekend.

CMax Cinema in Devonport is screening the high-definition moving picture with art historians Tim Marlow and Mariella Frostrup hosting the walk-through.

''It's moving footage and will be like you're there walking through the exhibition,'' CMax's general manager Katrine Elliott said.

''I'm so excited about it - it's a bit of an unknown really because it's the sort of thing that's never been seen on a big screen before.

''But it will be amazing. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'd suggest people will need to book in advance.''

The screening will be next Saturday and Sunday at the Devonport cinema.
