Human services minister Cassy O'Connor said yesterday the government would provide the care home for people with a disability with $261,000 of its $384,000 request for additional
funding to meet rising costs.
Eskleigh Home's chief executive Dale Luttrell said on March 23 that he was led to believe by acting disability and community services director Ingrid Ganley that the government
would meet the whole request.
Mr Luttrell has said the home faces bed closures and service cuts if the funding gap is not addressed.
