SIGNIFICANT savings on semen prices are available to Australian dairy farmers during International Dairy Week.
The event will be held at Tatura, two hours north of Melbourne, from January 18 to 23.
International Dairy Week welcomes visitors from 20 countries, who come to watch the holstein, jersey, illawarra, brown swiss, ayrshire and guernsey shows and is deemed equally important for commercial dairymen and registered breeders.
Major sponsor, Semex, is offering semen from its debut sire Dubosquet Lobby and high profile proven performers, Gillette Final Cut and R-E-W Buckeye in its holstein package.
The three bulls will sell for $20, $24 and $45 a straw, respectively.
Jersey team, Bridon Remake Comerica and Lencrest Blackstone will cost $20 a straw.
