The female victim was returning to the Capitol Chemist in Hobart Road on Friday at 3pm with close to $300 in change when she was attacked by two males in an alleyway between the pharmacy and another business.
The woman was punched in the face by a male within metres of her place of employment.
She was left lying on the ground with blood streaming from her face.
Detective Sergeant Paul Turner, of Launceston's criminal investigation branch, said two males had since been arrested in relation to the unprovoked attack.
"Police located two male suspects at a Kings Meadows property a short time after the incident," he confirmed yesterday.
"The 16-year-old and 19-year- old, both of Youngtown, have each been charged with aggravated robbery and the adult alleged offender has been remanded in custody (after he pleaded not guilty to the crime) to reappear in court next month."
Members of the public who witnessed the attack are asked to contact police on 63363701.
