ELWICK MLC Terry Martin appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court this afternoon to face child pornography charges.
Mr Martin, 51, of Claremont, was charged with one count of producing and two counts of possessing child exploitation material.
The charges relate to alleged events on or about September 10 this year.
The Independent MP pleaded not guilty to all charges and was granted bail to reappear in the Supreme Court early next year.
