TELEVISION gardening identity Peter Cundall and 12 other anti-pulp mill campaigners pleaded not guilty in the Hobart Magistrates Court this morning to failing to comply with the direction of a police officer.
The charges were laid following an anti-pulp mill rally outside Parliament House on November 19.
The lawyer representing some of the protesters, Roland Browne, told the court he was discussing with police the possibility of running a test case.
Outside the court he said the case would look at the lawfulness of people being able to protest at Parliament House.
Two others facing the same charge pleaded guilty this morning.
John Lomax, 80, of Lachlan was fined $200 while Christine Mary Lomax, 70, of Lachlan was given a 12 month good behaviour bond.
More of the 57 people charged as a result of the protest will face court next week.
