It has banned 30 people from its car parks and is starting legal action against 50 people to recoup unpaid debts.
People owe amounts ranging from several hundred dollars up to $20,000.
Care Park Tasmanian manager Bob Scholz said in addition to banning people and legal action, the company had bought wheel clamps.
"Probably 99 per cent of people do the right thing but there's this perception out there with some people that they don't want to pay," Mr Scholz said.
He said motorists ignoring the ticket machine might find their vehicle immobilised with a wheel clamp and be forced to pay $110 to have it removed.
Care Park operates sites in Paterson St, York St, Morty's complex, Brisbane St and the Australian Maritime College among others.
It charges people $50 if they do not display a ticket but accepts $20 if the fine is paid within 14 days.
Care Park lawyer Jim Parke said unfortunately word had spread in Launceston that payment notices would not be enforced. "I've got news for those who've ignored the payment notices and it's all bad," he said.
"Shortly many of them will hear a knock on the door to be served with a summons."
People caught disregarding their prohibition notices could be charged with trespass and liable for a maximum $500 fine or six- month jail term.
