Expo will meet all equine needs - Horse Directory

16 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
Join horse lovers of all ages at the Tasmanian All Breeds Stallion Parade and Equine Expo.

To be held on Saturday at Quercus Park, Carrick, the event will be a great day of entertainment with something for everyone to enjoy.

Gates to the equine expo will open at 10am, which will provide the opportunity for equine industry leaders to showcase what they have on offer.

Meanwhile, the public can benefit from the expo, which will offer products and wares such as rugs, equipment, clothing, natural remedies and more for sale.

Breed clubs and societies will also be in attendance.

From 10.30am, the entertainment will begin in the two demonstration arenas.

The morning's demonstrations will include breed and solo showcases.

At 2pm, the stallion parade will officially open, which will include a colourful gala costume display of Tasmanian Arabians and their riders.

For something a bit different, Phillip Leitch, together with his Frisian stallion, will present an authentic jousting display from 4.05pm.

Children will also be catered for, with fun at the PCYC mobile activity bus and free pony rides between 11am and 1pm.
